Six Degrees is partnering with a Queensland Government client to recruit a Business Support Officer.
* Title: Business Support Officer AO3
* Rate: $51.12 p/h + super
* Location: Cannon Hill
* Dates: ASAP start to 31 August 2026
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Support Officer to support a busy operational team responsible for work order management, supplier follow‐up and billing accuracy. Reporting into the broader operational support function, this role will suit someone with strong administration experience, high attention to detail and confidence working across high‐volume work orders, financial adjustments and internal systems.
Responsibilities
* Investigate and resolve work order and work request exceptions
* Monitor outstanding work orders and follow up to ensure completion
* Liaise with suppliers regarding job progress, delays and invoice submissions
* Raise journals, credits and financial adjustments as required
* Enter and maintain job cards for field staff
* Review and close work orders in line with billing requirements
* Identify discrepancies impacting service delivery and elevate where required
* Maintain accurate records across business systems
Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will bring strong administration or business support experience, ideally within work order management, maintenance, facilities, service delivery, invoicing, billing or high‐volume operational environments. You will have strong Excel and Outlook capability, good attention to detail, confidence liaising with suppliers and internal teams, and the ability to investigate issues through to resolution.
