About the role
Link-Force Au' is seeking an experienced Formwork Carpenter to join our team in Applecross, WA on a casual basis. As a Formwork Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and dismantling temporary concrete forms to support and shape poured concrete in various construction projects.
What you'll be doing
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine project specifications
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling wooden or metal forms to create the desired concrete shapes
- Positioning and securing forms in preparation for concrete pouring
- Disassembling forms after the concrete has set and ensuring a smooth finish
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
- Collaborating with other tradespeople to ensure the successful completion of construction projects
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry
- Hi-Rise experience essential
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent carpentry and construction skills, including the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools
- Attention to detail and the ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
