Your new role
As a Senior Project Engineer - Mining Studies, you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating technical study elements, with an immediate focus on estimation and financial modelling. You'll act as the key liaison between our South African modelling team and the client, ensuring seamless communication and project progress.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating activities between the client and SA-based resources.
* Managing schedules, costs, and deliverables.
* Driving project momentum and identifying growth opportunities.
* Leading client feedback sessions and building strong relationships.
* Supporting future phases, including logistics modelling and a full feasibility study in late 2026.
This Brisbane-based role offers flexibility, with time spent at the client's Milton office, work from home and occasional site visits.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in mining and client communication.
* Strong understanding of technical studies and project management fundamentals.
* Proven ability to lead teams and align technical experts toward common goals.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Comfortable working with diverse technologies and adaptable to evolving project needs.
