About the opportunity The Physiotherapist - Senior (Outreach) provides clinical leadership and high-level knowledge, skills and practice to the Physiotherapy discipline within a multidisciplinary, paediatric, early intervention, outreach allied health service.
The role provides integrated and holistic assessment and management of children with complex developmental needs (0-8 years).
This position forms part of the Child Development Service Outreach team which provides services to children and families living in rural and remote locations across the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.
PLEASE NOTE - This is a permanent part-time role, working 45.6 hours per fortnight.

This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
The successful applicant must agree to regular travel (via road and air) to the outreach sites included with the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.
Overnight travel is required as part of the service model.
This is a VPD risk role.
