Lead the financial platform of a growing Australian gold developer
Kalamazoo Resources Limited (ASX: KZR) is entering a defining phase as it advances its 100% owned 1.44Moz Ashburton Gold Project in Western Australia through Pre-Feasibility Study and toward future development.
In parallel, the Company continues to progress a broader portfolio of highly prospective gold and gold‐antimony exploration assets across Western Australia at Mallina West and Snake Well North and at the Mt Piper and South Muckleford projects in Victoria.
Kalamazoo is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to support the Company through its next phase of growth, including feasibility advancement, funding readiness, financial discipline, and institutional engagement.
This is an opportunity to join a growing ASX-listed gold company at a pivotal stage in its evolution and play a key role in supporting the advancement of Kalamazoo's development and exploration portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Company's financial management, reporting, and compliance functions.
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, treasury and cashflow management.
* Maintain strong financial controls, systems, and governance processes.
* Oversee audit processes, risk management support, and internal financial control systems.
* Support Board and Audit & Risk Committee reporting.
Feasibility & Development Support
* Support the Ashburton Gold Project Pre-Feasibility Study and future development activities through robust financial analysis and project evaluation.
* Assist with financial modelling, scenario analysis, and project funding preparation.
* Support disciplined capital allocation and cost management across the portfolio.
* Support funding readiness and financial planning associated with future Bankable Feasibility and development activities.
Capital Markets & Funding Support
* Support the Executive Chairman and CEO in capital raising activities and investor engagement.
* Assist in funding readiness, financial analysis and preparation for future debt and strategic financing initiatives.
* Coordinate financial due diligence and data room processes where required.
ASX Reporting & Compliance
Oversee preparation of:
* Half-year and annual financial reports
* Quarterly cashflow reports
Ensure compliance with:
* ASX Listing Rules
* Corporations Act
* Accounting standards and governance obligations
Support financial governance, budgeting and capital allocation across the Company's exploration and development portfolio.
Assist with commercial negotiations, contracts and corporate transactions where required.
Work collaboratively with operational, technical and exploration teams.
About You
* Senior financial leadership experience within mining, resources, infrastructure, engineering, or a related project-based industry.
* Strong ASX-listed company reporting and governance experience.
* Experience supporting feasibility studies, development projects, and/or major capital programs.
* Strong financial modelling, budgeting, and analytical capability.
* Commercial judgement and disciplined capital management skills.
* High integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
* Ability to operate effectively within a lean, high accountability environment.
* Experience in project finance, debt funding processes, and institutional engagement will be highly regarded.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, commerce, or related discipline required.
* Experience within mining, resources, infrastructure, engineering, or other major capital project environments will be highly regarded.
