Job Title:


Recreational Program Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Recreational Program Coordinator to facilitate positive health and wellbeing options for individuals, their families, and carers.

The successful candidate will drive the energy, engagement, and participation of residents into a range of social, recreational, and cultural activities. They will also lead mental health and wellbeing programs which empower our resident's choices and independence.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

,
* Planning and Organisation Skills: The ability to plan, organise, and lead activities for our residents that will meet social and recreational needs while also promoting independence and increasing quality of life.
,
* Assessment and Evaluation: The ability to assess and document the effectiveness of the programs, by tracking residents' progress and changing the programs as needed.
,
* Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of a Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle, Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable), Previous experience within an aged care setting.
,
* Skill Requirements: Highly developed organisation and time management skills, The ability to solve problems independently, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes, Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, internet/intranet skills, email communication, and confidence with smart phones and digital devices, Knowledge of Work Health and Safety.
