About the role
We are seeking a Market Development Coordinator (MDC) to join our Client Growth team in one of our offices located in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney.
With regular interaction with lawyers, practice group leaders and Client Growth colleagues across our global platform, the MDC will support and execute business development and marketing programs and initiatives for firmwide practice areas and industry groups. Successful candidates will possess good written and oral communications skills, project management abilities and will be able to assist to implement strategic directives and coordinate marketing functions.
What does the role involve?
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Assisting with the implementation of various marketing, business and client development projects to practice and industry groups.
* Creating and assisting to deliver client-focused proposals, capability statements, contact cards and presentation materials in response to new business opportunities including tracking in the firm's global experience and proposal database.
* Drafting, editing and proofing marketing collateral, PowerPoint presentations, event and sponsorship invitations (in Word and Concep/CI360) and communications, lawyer CVs and website biographies.
* Coordinating and publishing articles, newsletters, legal alerts, blog posts, LinkedIn/social media posts and other marketing communications materials.
* Working with partners and lawyers to maintain experience lists for deal announcements, legal directory submissions, CVs and website biographies and other practice and industry activities.
* Planning and coordinating practice/industry group/office special events, including mailing list management, collateral production, logistics planning and on-site support.
* Preparing detailed competitive intelligence and marketing research reports using firmwide research tools and library resources including reports to track value added services.
* Working collaboratively with other Market Development Coordinators and oversee assigned tasks including onboarding, merchandise and promotional materials and general team administration.
