Who you are
As a person you are passionate about the customer experience and driven to optimise and grow IKEA's performance as a leading omnichannel retailer on all search engine platforms. You are adaptable and agile to an everchanging online environment and are self-motivated to work autonomously and within a team environment. You have extensive prior experience in SEO (eg. SEMRush, Search Console, Screaming Frog/Lumar). Through your natural motivation and ability to analyse data insights, you are driven to identify opportunities and produce solutions and recommendations to improve optimisation and performance. As a collaborator at heart, you work with stakeholders to recommend ideas, offer valuable insights on opportunities and influence actions to secure business needs. For this role, previous experience with SEO is essential and working with large scale ecommerce retailers, global brands and/or media agencies will be highly regarded.
**Your responsibilities**
As SEO Specialist, you are responsible for contributing to IKEA goals for growth and positioning by improving the organic search optimisation in the digital channels where IKEA is present. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analyse, review and implement SEO changes and strategy to the digital channels, to increase visibility on all major organic search players.
- Research, analyse, benchmark and follow up the search engine area and implement recommendations by keeping updated on the new search engine algorithms and scoring updates.
- Perform ongoing keyword research and identify improvements for content optimisation.
- Collaborate with content editors, merchandisers and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and optimisation and recommend content improvements.
- Contribute, collaborate and implement global SEO projects on a local level.
- Collaborate closely with SEM in Marketing to find the best balance across organic and paid search.
