We are currently seeking a skilled professional to join our Quality Leadership Team as an integral part of our engagement and assurance activities across Suppliers.
This role will lead a small team working across all programs, ensuring the highest quality components are being installed to our products and driving continual improvement in collaboration with Suppliers.
Responsibilities:
* Bolster an effective Supplier Quality team, supporting growth and development of their skills and capabilities.
* Consult with industry partners, customers or regulatory agencies to establish performance requirements for supplier audits and assessments.
* Lead audits/assessments of suppliers' systems, processes and products, documenting and reporting on results.
* Participate with industry partners, customers and develop product acceptance standards, conducting source inspections of parts and materials.
* Interpret future business needs to identify areas for improving supplier performance and productivity.
* Foster positive relationships within the Quality Team, key stakeholders and partners including Supply Chain Management.
* Monitor and report on compliance and adequacy of Supplier QMS's against contractual requirements and standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Supplier Quality role with ability to collaborate with external organisations to conduct non-conformance reporting.
Tertiary level education in business or aviation, or commensurate level of professional knowledge and experience.
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence people, including Senior and Executive level stakeholders both in-person and virtually.
Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to effectively prioritise and time manage to meet deadlines.
