Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our clinical team in providing high-quality services on a casual basis to cover weekend cases.
As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with a mixed caseload of conditions, including orthopaedics, respiratory, oncology, neurosurgery, cardiology, acute medical, general surgical, maternity, and ICU/CCU.
You will use clinical reasoning to create and implement appropriate treatment plans, provide manual therapy, exercise prescription, education, and other modalities as per the treatment plan.
Liaising with other Allied Health Professionals, GP's, Surgeon's, Physician's, and other Health Care Professionals is also required to provide holistic care to patients.
Clinical supervision and case management responsibilities include managing patient care from admission to discharge, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed, and facilitating communication between healthcare professionals involved in patient care.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Assessment and treatment of patients with varied health conditions
* Development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
* Liaison with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate patient care
* Clinical supervision and case management
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Professional registration with AHPRA
* Valid Working with Children Check or ability to obtain clearance
* National Criminal History check
