We are excited to be recruiting for our client, a well-known family business in transport and logistics, who are seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to lead their regional operations. This is a hands‐on senior leadership role where you will ensure operations are safe, efficient, and profitable while supporting business growth and delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire a high‐performing team, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and operational excellence.
* Develop and implement strategies to drive efficiency, growth, and service quality.
* Manage people, processes, and resources, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
* Oversee budgets, KPIs, and service delivery to ensure operational performance.
* Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement across operations.
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years in senior management or leadership roles, preferably in transport, logistics, or operations.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and inspire teams.
* Understanding of safety, compliance, and operational regulations.
* Experience in strategic planning, financial management, and process improvement.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
