Business Development Manager – New Products

We are seeking a passionate and highly organised Business Development Manager to join our vibrant and hard-working team to lead the introduction of a new product line (and possibly more in the future) and further strengthen relationships with both new and existing clients. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Operations Manager, this role plays a key part in Coldbuster's expansion into new product areas. You would be responsible for driving growth by ensuring existing clients are engaged with our latest solutions while also promoting to new clients in the building and construction industries.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Primary – client relationship & growth functions, including:
· Manage and retain existing client accounts, focusing on introducing and embedding new product solutions.
· Expand client base and develop targeted business streams.
· Provide ongoing support and advice to clients, ensuring they understand and benefit from our full product range.
· Coordinate, schedule, and actively undertake promotional and sales activities.
· Conduct client meetings (in-person and online) to build engagement and foster long-term partnerships.
· Run regular client reviews to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities.
· Support and collaborate with the sales and marketing team to drive initiatives.
· Ensure clients are supplied with the right sales tools and promotional materials.
· Effectively use CRM tools to maximise client engagement and reporting.
· Represent Coldbuster at trade shows and industry networking events (occasional mornings, evenings, or weekends).
Secondary – support & collaboration as required:
· Assist with sales enquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins.
· Support customer service, sales projects, and administrative tasks.
· Help maintain and improve internal systems and processes.
· Collaborate on specific projects for Management.
· Provide backup support across other roles.
· Demonstrate flexibility in contributing to all aspects of the business.
Requirements:
· Results-driven with a strong focus on growth and outcomes.
· Proven experience building long-term client relationships and trade portfolios.
· Excellent customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
· Ability to manage tasks through to completion on time.
· Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.
· Strong work ethic, positive mindset, and willingness to learn.
· Confident working independently while also being a collaborative team player.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new systems.
· Experience in the building, construction, and/or property industries is highly desirable.
