As a key member of our team, you will ensure the fire, medical and security requirements of our guests and staff are maintained through professional practices. Your responsibilities include supporting the Director of Safety and Security with team development and day-to-day managerial tasks, assuming their role in their absence, and maintaining fire safety compliance.
We're looking for someone with experience in a similar role, preferably with Senior First Aid & CPR Certificates or higher. Certificate III - Security Operations is highly desirable, along with a QLD Security license and awareness of Work Health and Safety Laws. If you're competent in using computers and common software packages, with knowledge of fire systems and detectors, that's a bonus!

* Support the Director of Safety and Security with team development and day-to-day managerial tasks
* Maintain fire safety compliance, staff training and development, and complete audits and risk assessments
* Investigate incidents, assist with departmental timecard management, and procure equipment and consumables for the FLS department
* Support the Medical Centre and work towards operational improvements
* Provide first aid assistance, welcome and orientate new team members, and participate in training programs
* Interact with colleagues and guests from diverse cultures, displaying tact and diplomacy
* Deliver high-quality service to guests and staff, monitoring staffing levels and managing costs
Requirements
* Experience in a similar role, preferably with Senior First Aid & CPR Certificates or higher
