Active Directions is seeking an experienced independent executive search and recruitment professional to partner with us on strategic talent initiatives across Australia.
We work with private clients, family businesses and mid‐sized organisations on strategy, execution and operational improvement – and we're growing our community of independent consultants and interim executives who support these clients on critical projects and leadership roles.
Now, we're looking for a freelance Talent Partner to help us:
1. Talent Mapping of Independent Consultants & Interim Talent
* Deliver quarterly talent mapping across major capital cities in Australia
* Identify and qualify (via phone) independent consultants and interim executives aligned to our core service areas, day rates and client needs
* Build and maintain a shortlist of pre‐qualified consultants and facilitate warm introductions to Active Directions
* Support on‐demand shortlisting when we need very specific skills outside the quarterly cycle
Our consultant community typically includes:
* Independent consultants with experience in the mid‐market / private / family business sector
* Generalist strategy and execution consultants (growth, people, processes, technology)
* Specialists in sales, marketing, finance, technology, supply chain, operations, ESG, and HR.
* Interim executives such as CEO, GM and department leads across sales, marketing operations, finance and HR.
2. Executive & Management Search for Strategic Clients
You'll also partner with Active Directions to deliver end‐to‐end executive search for our strategic clients, typically for roles such as CEO, GM and department leads across sales, marketing operations, finance and HR.
Each engagement will meet the clients needs including a full search, short listing or talent mapping.
We'd love to hear from you if you are:
* An independent recruiter / executive search professional with experience in professional services, executive contracting or aligned industries.
* Working remotely and independently is valued.
* Familiar with the dynamics of private clients, family businesses and mid‐sized organisations and what drives their hiring decisions
* Equipped with your own tools, systems, processes and templates to deliver efficiently from day one
* Comfortable working in a collaborative partnership model, sharing insights and opportunities
* Motivated by building a long‐term relationship rather than one‐off transactions
