About the Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, we are currently seeking an experienced full-time Warehouse Storeperson to join our team at our Wangara branch in Western Australia. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of goods through our warehouse operations, while upholding the highest standards of safety, organisation and presentation. This is a permanent Monday to Friday position, 8:00am to 5:00pm, supported by an annualised salary.
About You
You are physically fit, safety-focused and have a strong attention to detail. You take pride in accuracy, efficiency and teamwork, and are capable of performing the following duties:
* Receiving, storing and despatching automotive parts accurately and efficiently
* Picking and packing customer orders to a high standard with a focus on accuracy and speed
* Ensuring precise stock location, handling and replenishment to maintain warehouse flow
* Maintaining accurate inventory records through diligent data entry and system updates
* Assisting customers with parts identification and order fulfilment in a professional manner
* Participating in stocktakes and cycle counts as required
* Safe and competent operation of pallet jacks and all warehouse equipment
* Upholding a clean, organised and efficient warehouse environment at all times
* Applying strong attention to alpha/numeric detail to ensure inventory accuracy throughout
Skills & Experience
To be considered, you will be able to demonstrate:
* Solid knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations, ideally within the automotive industry
* Proven experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment with the ability to perform under pressure
* Confidence using computer systems and RF scanning technology to manage and maintain stock accuracy
* A strong track record of delivering KPI results including pick accuracy and delivery in full
* Competent and safe operation of pallet jacks and all warehouse equipment
* Experience in pick/packing, receiving, dispatching and stock replenishment
* Sound understanding of workplace health, safety and manual handling requirements
* Excellent communication, organisational skills and attention to detail
* A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
