About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Pressure Welder / Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong fabrication and welding skills, with experience in a general engineering workshop environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Fabricate and weld structural metal products according to detailed plans.
* Read, interpret, and fabricate components based on engineering drawings.
* Use various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Arc welding) to assemble metal structures.
* Operate machinery, hand tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
* Inspect and test fabricated products for accuracy and quality.
* Maintain workshop safety and cleanliness standards.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent qualification).
* Minimum 3 years' relevant work experience as a qualified metal fabricator.
* Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding.
* Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings.
* Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety.
* Strong attention to detail.
