The role
As a TAFE Teacher in Process Instrumentation, you will impart extensive industry knowledge and experience to students across a range of delivery modes, including classroom, online and workplace settings. Your role enables you to influence the careers of future industry professionals by sharing your expertise and passion for the field.
Working as part of the Process Instrumentation Educational Delivery team at TAFE Queensland's Eagle Farm campus, you will report to the relevant Business Manager and support students from diverse backgrounds to acquire the skills they need to succeed in the workplace.

Mandatory Requirements
- UEE31225 Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control, or equivalent, and the following:
- Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided;
- Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;
- Evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency‐based training and assessment.
Additionally, to become a TAFE Queensland teacher you must hold, or be willing to obtain, a qualification in adult education. Primarily this qualification is TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent. Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience must be provided at interview.
