Job Summary:
This opportunity provides direction, guidance, and leadership to others to ensure effective delivery of our regulatory strategy and responsibilities.
You will be leading the delivery of compliance and measurement related functions that contribute to achieving sustainable management and use of the Region's water resources.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-level advice to senior managers on regulatory policy application and regional implementation.
2. Lead a team of Senior Water Officers in managing regional compliance and measurement activities.
3. Prepare submissions and briefing notes, and contribute to the development of work practices and guidelines.
4. Represent the department in regional forums and collaborate with other teams to manage finances and human resources effectively.
5. Ensure high standards of Work, Health & Safety, and promote ethical conduct among staff.
Benefits:
This role is part of a job share arrangement, capped at 0.4 FTE (2-days per week).
Requirements:
* Auditing & Compliance experience.
