Job Opportunity
This position will be based in Sydney or Melbourne, requiring a minimum of three days' on-site work per week.
* Drive business transformation and lead strategic initiatives by contributing directly and collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and global colleagues.
* Manage stakeholder engagement throughout the initiative lifecycle, ensuring clear communication, alignment on project goals, and timely progress updates.
* Oversee delivery across a comprehensive change portfolio, setting milestones, monitoring progress, and mitigating risks to ensure projects meet organizational objectives.
* Lead and develop a high-performing team, representing the organization locally and globally to foster positive outcomes and a culture of accountability.
Key Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
* 7-10 years of experience in investment or asset management, with a strong background in investment operations, management, or data management.
* Proven experience leading strategic and transformation initiatives.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues and build strong relationships.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and quality.
Standout Qualities
* Experience working with third-party financial solution vendors such as Bloomberg, Factset, State Street Alpha, Jacobi, or Barra.
* Demonstrated leadership in motivating teams and managing complex projects.
* A strong interest in investment management and financial markets industry.
* Relevant certifications or specialized training in project management or related fields.
