About the role
Extended Care Assistants work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of passionate and committed aged care professionals. We work together by providing personalised support to deliver the best possible care and services to residents, meeting their individual needs and preferences.
We are seeking casual Extended Care Assistants to work in our Sorell facility.
Responsibilities
* Assisting residents with daily living and mobility duties such as showering, feeding and toileting to enhance daily life
* Building and maintaining supportive relationships with residents, clients and their families to strengthen relationships within the business and local community
* Recognising changes in clients' conditions and reporting observations and concerns
About you
* Hold a current Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
* Known for a caring and compassionate nature
* Have the initiative and ability to work without supervision
* Thrive in a team and also appreciate one‐to‐one interactions
* Committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)
Essentials for working in Aged Care
* A current Working With Vulnerable People card
* Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
* Australian working rights
* Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance
