* Staff Development and Support ¿ Experience in coaching, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback to Education Support staff, as well as supporting induction processes.
* Collaboration and Relationships ¿ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships and work effectively with staff, families, and external stakeholders in support of student outcomes.
* Organisational and Administrative Skills ¿ Capacity to manage key tasks such as NCCD data, transition programs, and small-group initiatives while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.


Role


We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated educator to support the Year 7¿8 and Year 9¿10 Sub-School Teams. This position plays a vital role in enhancing student wellbeing, learning, and engagement while also providing coaching and support to education support staff. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative approach, and the capacity to work flexibly across a variety of settings.


Responsibilities

* Supporting Sub-School Teams

Work closely with the Year 7¿8 and Year 9¿10 Sub-School Teams.

Act in the Year Level Leader role when required, covering absences and ensuring continuity of leadership.

Assist the Year 7¿8 Team Leader with the Grade 6 to Year 7 transition, including administration and planning tasks.
- Staff Support and Development

Provide coaching, mentoring, classroom support, and constructive feedback for classroom-based Education Support staff.

Conduct induction processes for new Education Support staff.

Offer day-to-day guidance and support to Education Support staff across classrooms.
- Student Support and Programs

Conduct classroom observations of students to inform Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs), including supporting Disability Inclusion Profile (DIP) applications.

Facilitate small-group programs, such as Tier 2 wellbeing initiatives, literacy and numeracy interventions, or re-engagement sessions.

Provide daily support for students in the Wellbeing Placement (WPS) program.
- Family and Community Engagement

Attend and support a range of parent and carer meetings alongside Year Level Leaders, Team Leaders, Wellbeing & Program Leaders, or the Disability Inclusion Leader. This includes meetings for Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Return to School plans, and Student Support Group (SSG) meetings.
- Compliance and Administration

- Oversee the collection and entry of NCCD (Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability) data.
