Tanoshi Dubbo Japanese Restaurant is currently seeking an experienced Chef to join our team in Dubbo, NSW.
We are a busy and well-established Japanese restaurant, known for its high-quality food and friendly service.
Key Responsibilities
* Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
* Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
* Discussing food preparation issues with Manages, kitchen staff and waiting staff
* Preparing and cooking Japanese cuisine (including sushi, sashimi, tempura, and hot food meals)
* Ensuring kitchen cleanliness, food hygiene, and food safety compliance
* May select and train staff
* May freeze and preserve foods
Requirements
* Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Chef
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong work ethic and team player attitude
* Availability to work evenings and weekends
