The Role
As a Maintenance Fitter, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs across a variety of FMCG production machinery.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance across production and packaging equipment
* Respond to machinery breakdowns and carry out efficient fault finding and repairs
* Maintain and improve mechanical reliability across the site
* Work on a variety of machinery ranging from newly installed equipment to legacy production lines
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and equipment upgrades
* Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
* Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime
About You
* Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Fitter
* Previous experience working within FMCG, food, beverage, or high-speed manufacturing environments
* Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
* Experience performing both preventative and reactive maintenance
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
