We are seeking Lead Mechanics to lead and support a team while ensuring the safety, quality, and availability of our shared vehicle fleet. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals who enjoy teamwork and want to grow their leadership and technical experience
Responsibilities
* Lead, train, and onboard Mechanics and Senior Mechanics, assigning daily tasks to ensure efficient workflow
* Foster a collaborative team environment and support new team integration
* Monitor team performance and provide feedback to management
* Ensure vehicle safety, quality, and compliance prior to deployment
* Maintain accurate documentation for inspections, parts, and quality checks
* Manage battery operations, including inspection, rotation, and check-in/check-out
* Perform in-warehouse and field maintenance and repairs, including tire servicing and electronic repairs
* Identify and resolve vehicle issues to maximise operational availability
* Support inventory management and organisation of tools, parts, and vehicles
* Maintain safety, hygiene, and compliance standards within the warehouse
* Safely operate warehouse equipment, vehicles, vans, and forklifts
* Assist with vehicle deployment and retrieval as required
Complete additional job-related tasks as assigned
Skills
* 2+ years of experience in a similar industry; with the ability to train others.
* Ability to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
