Job Description
The Project
The Alkimos SeaWater Alliance project will deliver WA's next major water source - a new seawater desalination plant at Alkimos. At completion of stage 1 the plant will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water to millions of Western Australians each year.
The project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.
The Role
As a labourer/stores TA, you will support site works and store activities. The role keeps materials moving, work areas safe, and supports the construction team with day‐to‐day tasks by keeping the yard and stores organised. This position suits someone reliable, team‐focused and comfortable working in a busy civil construction environment.
Daily Tasks and Responsibilities
* Report hazards and support safe work practices
* Assist site crew with labouring tasks
* Move, load and unload materials
* Support stores with stock control
* Maintain clean and safe work areas
* Support deliveries and documentation
