Job Role

The Management and Regulatory Accounting Lead is a key member of the Finance leadership team, responsible for driving collaboration, autonomy, and accountability within the team and across the broader organisation.

This role involves effective delivery and performance reporting of multi-year budgets, as well as providing strategic and tactical advice to the Executive team, Board of Directors, managers, and responsible officers.

The role also requires managing and supporting a team of Management Accountants, ensuring the effective delivery of reliable, timely information to enable evidence-based decision-making and optimise financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

* Effective delivery and performance reporting of multi-year budgets
* Providing strategic and tactical advice to senior stakeholders
* Managing and supporting a team of Management Accountants
* Ensuring reliable, timely information is delivered to support decision-making

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

* A degree qualification (mandatory) with CPA or CA qualification preferred
* Minimum 5 years' management accounting experience
* Demonstrated internal stakeholder management skills and ability to negotiate
* Highly developed leadership, interpersonal, and collaborative skills
* Strong financial reporting, analytical, and modelling skills
* High proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and accounting software
* Demonstrated critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
