About the Role
This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced School Psychologist who can oversee professional learning and supervision, particularly for provisionally registered psychologists, ensuring they meet the standards outlined in the Competency Framework for School Psychologists.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership and expert guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality psychological services across our schools.
* Lead professional learning and supervision, ensuring that all psychologists are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to deliver best practice services.
* Develop and implement contemporary psychological practices and innovative programs that foster positive outcomes for students, schools, and the broader education system.
* Manage complex issues, provide expert advice on emergency and critical incident responses, and influence systemic change through collaboration with various stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with professional standards, support inter-agency partnerships, and optimize resource deployment.

Eligibility Requirements
* Hold or be eligible for general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
* Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before starting.
* Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department's Screening Unit before starting.
* Achieved Advanced Skills School Psychologist status for permanent appointment to this position.
