Focus on continuous learning, innovation and building your expertise across a wide range of construction projects. You'll work with clients, including contractors and government agencies, advising on commercial and financial matters, auditing records and providing claims avoidance strategies.
What you'll do
Work with a broad range of clients such as Contractors and Government Agencies to advise on commercial and financial matters on their construction projects. Often working as an advisor auditing financial records, advised on best practice and claims avoidance.
Review large data sets and correspondence from projects to determine financial position, risk and any variations to contract. Produce clear and concise reports that provide value to the client.
What you'll need
* Quantity Surveying degree or other related subjects such as Civil Engineering and Construction Management
* Professional accreditations desirable such as RICS, AIQS
* Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor and/or contract administrator on building and civil infrastructure projects
* Experience working on open book/ partnering contracts is desirable
* Experience in using appropriate software and technology like MS Office, Buildsoft, Cost X, Planswift or Blue Beam
* Ability to communicate clearly and work through complex issues
* Analytical mind, someone who loves investigating and working with contracts and data. Curious by nature, someone who questions and can look at the broader context seeking value for client
