We are seeking an outstanding, enthusiastic Secondary English / HASS teacher to join our innovative team. Responsibilities
* Lead pedagogical improvement and provide effective teaching of History and English up to Year 12.
* Integrate modern technologies in curriculum delivery and support innovative learning opportunities.
* Create and maintain an enthusiastic, creative mindset that fosters collaboration, reflection, openness to change, and continuous improvement.
* Contribute to a culture of excellence and take an active role in staff professional learning and collegial collaboration.
* Provide relief teaching across secondary, as required.
Qualifications & Expectations
* Proven ability to meet diverse student needs and adapt teaching, resources, and assessment practices.
* Demonstrated skills in building positive working relationships with colleagues to enable sharing practices, collaborative learning, and support student success.
* Experience in managing challenging behaviour using evidence-based strategies to create a safe, positive learning environment.
* Strong commitment to inclusion, equity, and student progress.
* Experience in secondary teaching of History and/or English (preferred).
Employment Conditions
Full‐time, FTE; Subjects: History to Year 10 and English to Year 12; Fraction of time: 1.0; Location: Mark Oliphant College; Salary: $84,971 – $123,236 per annum (FTE/Teacher Conditions).
