We're looking for a proactive professional to support the safe and efficient storage, movement, and quality control of transported products. Based at the nominated depot, yard, or designated location, you will be responsible for overseeing loading, unloading, and train movements to ensure seamless operations. **About the role**:
- Load and unload wagons to relevant standards, making relevant adjustments and troubleshooting issues.
- Undertake tasks associated with the storage, movement, and quality control of transported products including inventory measurements, data management, product sampling, and record keeping.
- Control movement of trains within the area of operations and carry out instructions concerning train movements
- Provide clear communication to traincrew and other operational staff to ensure safe movement of locomotives and trains.
- Liaise with customer in planning, implementing change, and taking corrective action, to deliver required services.
- Inspect and report faults on all relevant equipment including rolling stock by undertaking relevant operational checks.
- Drive vehicles for pick-up and delivery of supplies and equipment.
- Operate fixed / mobile plant and equipment.
