We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) who holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to join our Santos team at the Moomba site in remote South Australia. This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality clinical care and health education in a challenging and rewarding remote work environment. The role operates on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (2/2) FIFO roster, with travel provided from either Brisbane or Adelaide.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver primary and emergency health care, including advanced life support, trauma management, and resuscitation as required.
* Conduct daily medical clinics, manage work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses, and facilitate return-to-work planning.
* Liaise with internal and external healthcare providers, including the site's medical advisors, for medevacs and specialist referrals.
* Conduct drug and alcohol testing, health surveillance, and facilitate health assessments such as audiometry and spirometry.
* Facilitate health-related training programs including First Aid, CPR, Injury Management, and occupational health awareness.
* Maintain medical facilities and equipment to a high standard, ensuring alignment with clinical governance and client protocols.
* Promote workplace health initiatives and deliver training sessions aligned with the Healthier Santos strategy.
* Uphold all health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent).
* Advanced Life Support (ALS) and CPR Certification.
* Trauma Qualification (e.g., PHTLS or TNCC).
* Current certification in Drug and Alcohol Testing (HLTPAT005 or equivalent).
* Proven experience in remote or resource sector health service delivery is highly regarded.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to engage in multidisciplinary team settings.
