About the Organisation
A well-regarded provider of human services across urban, regional, and remote areas of the Northern Territory is seeking a passionate Clinician to support young people aged 12–25 in a youth-focused mental health setting. The organisation offers inclusive, culturally safe, and trauma-informed care to diverse communities.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and compassionate Clinician to join a dedicated team. You will play a key role in early intervention and therapeutic support for young people, delivering high-quality, collaborative, and strengths-based care.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting intake, screening, and bio-psycho-social and risk assessments
* Delivering evidence-based individual and group interventions
* Developing collaborative care and safety plans
* Maintaining accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation
* Participating in community engagement, outreach, and group work
* Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, best-practice services
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline (e.g. Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Nursing)
* Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g. AHPRA, AASW)
* At least 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in youth mental health
* Skills in assessment, risk management, and therapeutic intervention
* Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and families
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
* A respectful, flexible, and culturally inclusive approach
* NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card)
* National Police Check (within the last 3 months)
* NT Driver's Licence
* First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Up-to-date COVID-19 and role-specific vaccinations
