The role of a Specialist Technician is highly demanding, requiring advanced technical skills in several key areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Windows Server Technologies: Proficiency in designing, implementing, and managing Windows Server environments.
* Service and Management of Devices: Expertise in servicing and managing both Windows and Apple devices to ensure optimal performance and security.
* Network Administration: In-depth knowledge of network administration, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
* Web Development: Familiarity with web development using HTML, Java, and WordPress will be highly regarded.
Preferred Attributes:
* Relevant Experience: Previous experience in an educational setting, particularly in wireless deployment and department initiatives, will be highly valued.
* Enterprise Environment Experience: Demonstrated ability to plan, deploy, and manage 1-to-1 user/device environments in an enterprise environment.
* Professional Development: Ability to plan and run ICT professional development sessions and work collaboratively with the Schools' ICT Management.
