Previous baking experience is advantageous, and applicants with minimum three years' experience or Certificate III in Baking will have priority for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation and production of quality bakery products according to our standards.
* Maintaining bread quality and range, ensuring timely delivery to meet customer demands.
* Developing effective relationships with all team members in the Bakery.
* Weighing flour and ingredients to prepare dough.
* Operating machines and tools to prepare bakery products.
* Decorating cakes with glazes, icings, butter-cream and edible toppings.
* Preparing pastry fillings.
* Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products.
* Glazing buns and pastries.
* Maintaining cleanliness of machines, tools and premises.
* Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearances to determine baking times.
Requirements:
* Work flexibly across seven days, including evening shifts and public holidays.
* Communicate effectively with customers and staff in a fast-paced team environment.
* Display a positive attitude and complete duties as directed by your manager/supervisor.
* Train, develop and supervise apprentices and staff in the Bakery Department.
* Maintain effective relationships with all team members in the Bakery.
* Ensure attention to detail, good numeracy and literacy skills, sound knowledge of food handling and food safety, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
