Job Summary
Assist clients to understand their employment related duties and use initiative and problem-solving skills to assist clients to maintain their employment in a casual role with Community Bridging Services (CBS) Inc.
About the Role
As a Disability Employment Consultant, you will provide one-on-one support to clients within their workplace with a view to building their independence. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing much needed support and assistance to the Jobnet Employment Program providing Disability Employment Services
* Assisting clients to understand their employment related duties and improve efficiencies
* Communicating effectively to advocate for CBS Inc. and your clients in their workplace
* Building positive relationships with client's employer, team members, and stakeholders
* Using initiative and problem-solving skills to assist clients to maintain their employment
* Administration and basic computer skills to accurately record case notes
* Collaborating with and supporting client's case managers
Requirements
* Australian Driver's Licence - P2 minimum is essential
* Meet the current COVID-19 Vaccine requirement – medical exemption acceptable (or willingness to obtain)
* Relevant NDIS / DHS checks and clearances in accordance with the role requirements (or willingness to obtain)
* Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
