As a leader in nursing and care, you will oversee multiple responsibilities to ensure high standards of care and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Quality of Care: Deliver high standards in nursing and social care, compliance with regulations, staff training, and innovative practices.
* Financial Management: Manage financial procedures, understand funding and fee structures, and make informed decisions.
* General Leadership: Conduct team meetings, liaise with community agencies, handle complaints, and promote the organization within the community.
* Environment: Implement health and safety policies, ensure hygiene standards, and oversee maintenance and catering quality.
* Human Resources: Participate in staff recruitment, training, and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
Qualifications and Skills
* A registered general nurse (RGN) with at least 3 years' recent experience caring for older persons.
* A post-registration management qualification in health or a related field.
* A minimum of 3 years' management experience in health and social care.
* Registered on the NMBI live register.
* Proven healthcare management track record, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Financial acumen, team motivation, flexibility, and initiative.
