The Go Global Toolkit is the central platform through which Austrade delivers its digital trade services. It is designed to help Australian businesses in their export journey and is now undergoing expansion to deliver more interactive, tailored and targeted content and features and assist businesses to start exporting and diversify into new markets. We are looking for a talented and motivated Assistant Director to lead the development and implementation of the Go Global Toolkit strategy and forward content and activity plan in alignment with the Australian Government and Austrade's trade priorities. As an Assistant Director, you should be highly experienced in strategic thinking, project planning and management to deliver high quality outcomes to a variety of stakeholders in complex and fast-paced environments. You should have experience leading and managing projects with digital components; excellent analytical and communication skills; an ability to build strong internal and external working relationships; and establish and execute valuable industry partnerships. The key duties of the position include Undertake research and analysis across the global trade environment, exporter needs and organisational priorities to explore new ideas and initiatives. Lead strategic planning and development of projects that support Austrade to deliver Trade priorities through the Go Global Toolkit. Drive the forward planning of Go Global Toolkit events, activities and content creation ensuring alignment with government and Austrade strategic priorities. Consider and effectively manage competing priorities and strategic directions when achieving team planning and project outcomes in line with the agency goals and objectives. Lead the Go Global Toolkit's partnership strategy including developing the strategic plan, identifying and building relationships with partners and overseeing the management of partnership activities. Represent the Trade Division to lead and execute strategic projects that involve market research and insights, content creation and digital product development. Work across multi-disciplinary teams to manage, execute and monitor initiatives and activities Identify, establish and implement service performance and content improvements.
