Job DescriptionOur client, CHEEMAJATT ENTERPRISE, is a growing and dynamic business committed to delivering quality products and services to customers. With a strong focus on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and community engagement, the company, located in Bannister, Western Australia, continues to expand their presence within the retail and service sector. They are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to lead daily operations and drive store performance.
The Retail Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations, managing and developing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, controlling inventory, and achieving sales targets. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to create a positive and productive team environment. The annual salary for this full-time position is $76,515 to $77,000.
Responsibilities
* Managing the overall day-to-day operations of the business to ensure smooth and efficient performance.
* Determining product range, stock levels and service standards to meet customer demand.
* Implementing purchasing, pricing, and promotional strategies in line with business objectives.
* Monitoring sales performance and preparing sales reports for management review.
* Controlling operational costs and assisting in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
* Recruiting, training, supervising, and rostering retail staff.
* Managing staff performance and providing ongoing leadership and development.
* Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and resolving escalated customer complaints.
* Overseeing inventory control, stock ordering, stocktakes, and supplier coordination.
* Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and other relevant legislation.
* Managing cash handling procedures, banking, and loss prevention measures.
* Maintaining store presentation, merchandising standards, and overall visual appeal.
Qualifications
* Must have at least one to two (1-2) years of experience in a similar setting.
* Should hold a Diploma or higher qualification relevant to the field.
