About the Role
Kingsway Indoor Stadium is seeking a fun & enthusiastic individual who has a passion to work in the sport & recreation industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the stadium’s popular sporting competitions. The successful Appointee will be responsible for:
- Co-ordinating all sporting competitions at Kingsway Indoor Stadium
- Leading a small team of casual sport umpires
- Increasing team participation across all sporting competitions at Kingsway Indoor Stadium
- Assist in leading the daily operations at Kingsway Indoor Stadium
- Assisting with the development & delivery of the stadium’s marketing & promotions plan
- Participating in business development and implementation of initiatives in line with key business and performance targets
About You
As a collaborative member of the Kingsway team, the position is accountable for delivering a high standard of well-organised sporting competitions and a high level of customer service. Applicants must be able to demonstrate through their CV and covering letter that they meet the following capabilities:
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work in high pressure situations
- Experience in the development and delivery of leisure and sports programs
- Proven communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of the practical application of Occupational Safety & Health measures within a leisure facility environment
You must meet the following requirements to be successful in this role:
- Qualification in relevant discipline such as Business, management or Sports & Recreation is desirable
- Relevant experience in a similar role is desirable
- First Aid Certificate
- Working with Children Check
