About the team Our Technology team is the backbone of the business, building and maintaining the information technology infrastructure that support Coles Group. As a part of the Technology team, you get the opportunity to work through complex, challenging, meaningful problems using large data sets and new technologies to expand your skills and experience. About the role: As a Project Analyst, you will support end‑to‑end project delivery by providing high‑quality analysis, reporting, coordination, and administrative support. You will ensure project activities are effectively tracked, risks and issues are identified, and stakeholders receive accurate, timely information to support decision‑making. Key Responsibilities Project Analysis & Reporting Develop, maintain, and analyse project schedules, plans, dashboards, and documentation. Track project performance across scope, schedule, budget, and quality metrics. Prepare regular status reports, presentations, and performance insights for project and executive stakeholders. Analyse variances, identify trends, and highlight emerging risks or issues. Coordinate day‑to‑day project activities and maintain project schedules. Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes. Follow up on action items and maintain project management tools. Assist with project plans, documentation, and reports. Communicate effectively with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors. Support budget tracking, procurement, and resource allocation. Identify and escalate risks, issues, dependencies, and delays. Provide general administrative and coordination support to the project team. Project Coordination & Support Support planning activities including scoping, scheduling, resource planning, and financial forecasting. Coordinate project workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagement activities. Maintain action logs, risk registers, issue logs, and decision registers. Develop project artefacts such as business cases, requirements documents, change requests, and closure reports. Data & Financial Analysis Monitor project budgets and expenditure alongside finance teams. Reconcile financial data and support cost‑benefit analysis or modelling. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across project and reporting systems. Risk, Issue & Dependency Management Analyse and identify risks, issues, and dependencies. Monitor and report on risks using established frameworks. Escalate critical risks or blockers to project leadership. Continuous Improvement Support improvements to project tools, templates, and processes. Contribute insights to enhance reporting accuracy and overall project delivery. About you and your skills: Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies. Proficient in MS Project, MS Office, Power BI, Excel, Jira, Confluence, Trello, Clarity and other PM tools. Ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data. Experience with budget tracking and financial analysis. Collaborative mindset with a strong commitment to team outcomes. Prior experience as a Project Analyst, Coordinator, or equivalent in project coordination or administrative roles (preferred). Demonstrated ability to produce clear, accurate reporting. Project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile PM, Scrum). Experience working in complex or multi‑project environments. Exposure to digital transformation or technology‑focused projects. Excellent communication, both written and verbal. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills. High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities. Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to anticipate potential issues. Strong organisational and time‑management skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines LI-DIG3 What’s in it for you?
