About the Role
Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Consultant to join its Infection Prevention and Control team. This part-time (0.6 FTE), ongoing role will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of safety and minimising healthcare-associated infections.
Main Responsibilities
* Audit and report on IPC practices, providing education and coaching to staff as necessary
* Develop and implement strategies to enhance IPC practices, including reviewing staff health and administering vaccinations
* Consult with the evidence-base to update frameworks, guidelines, and procedures
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in infection prevention and control, coupled with strong communication and quality improvement skills
* Ability to manage data and analyse outputs to inform interventions
