Many of the people in the group have had tough life experiences, and some may not be confident readers or writers. Your job will be to help make the space welcoming, safe and fun. You ll help plan and run easy group activities things like games, crafts, and hands-on life skills and support people to join in however they feel comfortable.
Responsibilities
* Working in small groups, at times one on one
* Helping set up and pack away activities
* Supporting people to join in no pressure, just gentle encouragement
* Running simple activities like:
o Board games or card games
o Basic crafts (painting, collage, beading)
o Easy life skills (budget jars, cooking demos, cleaning tips)
o Fun group chats or skill-sharing
* Keeping the vibe relaxed, safe and respectful for everyone
Commitment & Type of Work
* Commitment: Regular - more than 6 months
* Type Of Work: Arts, Craft & Photography, Companionship & Social Support
* Time Required: Thursdays, 10am-2pm (times can be flexible)
* Training: Provided
