Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School is seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher of piano to join our vibrant and supportive music community. As an Instrumental Music Teacher, you will provide individual lessons, teach small groups in the Year Seven Instrumental Programme and be an excellent accompanist.
This is a Long Service Leave replacement position for Term One 2026 (approximately 0.6 FTE). The position is based at our Keilor East campus (Year 7-12), and the required working day is Friday, with other days negotiable.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in teaching Piano
- Ability to engage and inspire students in individual instrumental lessons and ensembles
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Support for a culture of thinking, student care, and wellbeing
- Support for the school's music events and activities
Applicants must be suitably qualified and experienced, holding either VIT registration or a current Working With Children Check. You must also be eligible to work in Australia.
