Key Responsibilities:
* Provides direct care, counseling, and education to designated patient populations in various settings.
* Conducts comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
* Orders, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and diagnostic tests.
* Develops appropriate care and follow-up plans based on diagnostic, laboratory, and physical exam findings.
* Prescribes medications following organizational and regulatory policies.
* Maintains high-quality documentation, including admission notes, progress notes, procedure notes, operative notes, and discharge summaries.
* Performs bedside procedures as needed.
Education and Qualifications:
* A Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies is required.
* Experience cannot substitute for the degree.
Licenses and Certifications:
* A valid Physician Assistant license is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience as a licensed Physician Assistant is highly valued.
