Here at Linfox we deliver everyday essentials and natural resources for Australia's biggest companies. This role is with Linfox's Consumer and Healthcare Group, based at the Willawong distribution centre. It involves transporting temperature-sensitive freight to retail destinations across Brisbane and surrounding regions, operating our modern fleet of automatic Volvo vehicles. Up to three deliveries per day with limited manual handling. This is an ongoing casual opportunity with consistent weekday hours and early morning starts: Mon – Fri (5am – 1:30pm) at Willawong.
Responsibilities
* Champion Linfox's safety through adherence to Vision Zero principles.
* Comply with company procedures, including coupling and uncoupling protocols.
* Safely operate and manage side curtain trailers.
* Deliver freight in a timely and professional manner while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
* Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations and all relevant transport legislation.
Requirements
* Current and valid HR driver's licence with a demonstrated commitment to safe driving practices.
* Strong geographical knowledge of Brisbane metropolitan areas and surrounding northern and southern corridors.
* Willingness to undertake occasional manual handling tasks.
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Positive attitude with a proactive and flexible approach to daily tasks.
