Key Responsibilities
* Interpret and execute building plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.
* Cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials to construct frameworks for buildings.
* Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, using hand and power tools.
* Inspect structures and materials for defects and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
* Collaborate with construction teams and supervisors to meet project deadlines and specifications.
Requirements
* Relevant qualification in carpentry or a related field.
* Minimum 1 year experience as a Carpenter.
* Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and construction methods.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
* Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Benefits
This role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 – $85,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
