About the Role
A great opportunity to join our growing team in Melbourne. We are seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer with strong technical knowledge of motor control and frequency inverters to support sales growth and provide technical solutions to customers across industrial applications.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage customer relationships in the reseller, end-user and OEM markets.
* Provide technical advice and product selection for AC motors and servo motors, frequency inverters and related automation solutions.
* Prepare quotations, proposals and technical documentation.
* Identify new business opportunities and follow market trends.
* Support customer during commissioning and trouble shooting.
* Collaborate with internal sales, engineering and service teams.
* Achieve sales targets and contribute to market expansion.
Qualifications
* Formal qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronic Engineering are preferred; applicants with relevant industry experience will be highly regarded.
Required Skills
* Experience with AC motors / servomotors, frequency inverters, and automation systems.
* Ability to understand customer applications and propose solutions.
* Highly energetic and enthusiastic, driving performance to the highest level
* Desire for continuous learning in the field of motion control and associated market trends.
* Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Ability to participate in the 24-hour roster.
