As the Site Coordinator, you will be pivotal in managing quotations, weekly invoicing, scheduling, and coordinating the safe and efficient collection, transportation, and disposal of controlled waste, as well as the delivery, servicing, and removal of skip bins and IBCs within the Waste & Water department.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Waste & Water Manager, the successful candidate will oversee the daily supervision and scheduling of assets and personnel on site to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. Key responsibilities include:
* Quoting, planning, and scheduling works to meet delivery requirements, standards, and timelines.
* Supervising and managing a team of 10+ drivers.
* Overseeing fleet management to ensure vehicles are used effectively and safely, meeting contract commitments and deadlines.
* Conducting weekly audits and preparing jobs for invoicing.
* Verifying worker hours for payroll processing.
* Collaborating closely with the Supervisor and Waste Manager to ensure smooth operations.
* Ensuring high regulatory compliance standards in waste operations.
* Managing and updating vaccination and controlled waste registers.
* Serving as the first point of contact for clients, drivers, and contractors.
* Coordinating new starter site inductions.
* Working with the Recruitment and Mobilisation team to ensure site compliance and inductions.
* Performing monthly audits of the controlled waste tracking form.
* Following up on leads and attending sites for the scope of work evaluations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Proven experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of waste management and/or transportation is highly advantageous.
* Strong understanding of safety and fatigue management is desired.
* Experience with Simpro is beneficial.
* Exceptional time management and planning skills, with the ability to organise workloads and set priorities.
* Strong analytical skills to process information, evaluate costs and benefits, and solve complex problems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
