The Position
We have position available for an experienced dental Assistant on a full or part time basis. The position is preferably full time, but consideration will be given to part time employees that can work at least three full days (8-9 hours each day).
The successful applicant will be required to perform duties associated with their level of experience, so applications are encouraged from Dental Assistants who are not orthodontically trained but have significant experience in general dental practices. Training will be provided in all necessary orthodontic procedures.
The successful applicant may undertake duties at either of our Practice locations depending on operational requirements, but the initial training will occur at our Joondalup rooms.
Some flexibility may be required with regard to finishing times due to patient treatment requirements.
To be successful in this role you will have;
* Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting or significant experience in dental with a willingness to undertake training to progress to formal qualifications.
* Ability to work in a busy practice as part of a team
* Willing to learn new techniques and participate in continuing professional development.
* Excellent patient management skills
* Ability to work at either the Joondalup or Cottesloe rooms depending on operational needs. It is likely though that most rostered shifts will be at our Joondalup location unless you have a preference to work at Cottesloe.
