With a fleet of six 76 seat Dash 8 - Q400 NextGen aircraft, Nexus Airlines is a progressive West Australian business committed to providing reliable and efficient air services to better connect regional Western Australia. Nexus Airlines is seeking a highly skilled Dash 8 – Q400 Captain to join our team in Geraldton.
About the role
In addition to flying duties, pilots are expected to assist with the following duties:
* Assisting the operations team as required
* Supporting other pilots with pre- and post-flight duties
Qualifications and Expectations
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate enthusiasm, energy, a high level of personal presentation, and excellent people and communication skills. You will also have a positive attitude with the ability to be solution focused in challenging situations.
* ICAO Air Transport Pilot Licence (A)
* English language proficiency – Level 6
* ICAO class 1 aviation medical
* 3700 hours total flying
* 2000 hours multi engine
* 1500 hours multi engine command
* 600 hours command on a Dash8 Q400
* 500 hours Multi crew experience
* 300 hours night flying
